"Enthrall"
Below are shots from a piece Krystal choreographed for the production of the choreography show, "HerView" at Rowan University. The aim of the show was to shed light on the views of our all-woman cast of choreographers. The show focused on various topics ranging from personal issues such as body image all the way to political and religious thoughts. Krystal's piece focused on her challenge of combining her modern dance training with her ballroom and latin background.
"Coalescence"
"Coalescence" is a continuation of the previous, "Enthrall". After focusing on the combination of styles in the original short piece, Krystal wanted "Coalescence" to send a message. The combination of sounds, music, and spoken word deriving from traditional sounds and music and authors from various countries plus the dance styles; acted as a metaphor and celebration of our culturally mixed nation. Below are some shots of the cast. Our production of "Coalescence" was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but will hopefully resume production when it safe for everyone.
